Can you do that?

Remember that old saying “You can dress them up but you can’t take them nowhere.” Well Stacy and I had that kind of moment while in flight. My first thought was to blame this on the SCREAMING baby who miraculously cried for at least 45 minutes non stop. But upon further review, it is clear that this can only be the result of learned behavior picked up by friends in the Tarboro, NC congregation. 

 Here’s what happened: We received our dinner meal during the flight. Alongside the main entree was a dinner roll, crackers, butter and cheese. Now, for all our non-Tarboro friends, what combination would you create with these options? Would you consider a little butter on your dinner roll and enjoy the cheese with the crackers? Seems reasonable. What did my dear husband do? He made his own version of an Abram’s Cheese biscuit by stuffing that cheese wedge inside his dinner roll. Can he do that? Yes he did!!!

 I’m always fascinated by the map that tracks our trip while in flight. We couldn’t get a direct flight to Europe from Raleigh so we flew to Philly and took the overnight flight over the Atlantic Ocean. And while I know that sounds terrifying to some, it’s quite an amazing experience.
